Today as well as yesterday I started to work on my paper. It definitely has been a challenge to present both sides of the story without voicing my own opinion. I also have found it difficult to create both sides of the controversy without constantly stating the facts over and over. I have to work on the overall fluidness of the paper. I feel like I have done enough research to present both sides with accuracy and thoroughness, but I have realized that I still need more information that proves that there is a connection between autism and vaccines. The lawsuit that occurred over vaccinations has been a major part of my paper, but I need more conclusive evidence about the trial and decision that was made about it. I still find it shocking that there are people who believe that there is a connection between childhood vaccinations and autism when there are sources from all over that disprove the connection.

I realize that you find it hard to realize the other side's opinions, but you have to consider that these people are no less human than you. We cannot assume our opponents are simply less educated, or we ourselves are the one's creating a pseudo-argument by creating condescension. Maybe you yourself have to research that side more thoroughly.
Molly,
I have read this problem in a few other people's blogs--that they were having problems writing without voicing one side or another. I suggest that you just take a step back and try to organize your facts so that you can find equal evidence from both sides. I think finding equal evidence will help you to write a paper without voicing your opinion.
Good work!
Steve
I have researched the other side for quite some time, but it is hard to find information about it. I am not at all assuming the opponents are less educated. I was just implying that it's weird that there is an opinion that there is a connection when many of these sources prove the connection false. Even though I don't believe childhood vaccines cause autism, it doesn't mean that it's not true. There is no conclusive evidence.
